Our Unique Santa Rosa Assisted Living Facilities
We understands that good assisted living care are hard to find. Many large Santa Rosa assisted living facilities provide glossy marketing materials and sell “fine-dining,” but lack quality personal care when your loved one needs it most. At Wild Rose Care Home senior care is our top priority. Owner Mary Garcia, RN maintains high assisted living care standards and is involved in resident care. What makes our assisted living facility different is that a registered nurse is involved in resident care on a frequent basis. At Wild Rose Care Home at Quail Run you won’t just be dealing with a caregiver; you’ll be talking with someone in charge who has medical experience.
Assisted Living Standards
Wild Rose Care Home at Quail Run maintains high standards. While the overall quality of assisted living in Sonoma County is high compared to other areas of California, many Santa Rosa assisted living facilities lack the resources or expertise to provide high quality care. Most Santa Rosa assisted living facilities charge between $3,000 and $4,000 per month, lack awake-night staff, and are owned by individuals without medical experience. While a few of these assisted living facilities provide adequate care, many do not accept seniors with dementia or are incapable of providing adequate care to seniors with dementia. In contrast, Wild Rose Care Home understands that caring for seniors with dementia or physical challenges requires both medical expertise and adequate staffing. Medical expertise will translate into higher quality assisted living care and efficient communication with your loved ones doctor. Adequate staffing and quality staff training will help your loved one function in an assisted living environment and thrive in a Santa Rosa assisted living facility. At Wild Rose Care Home at Quail Run, our medical experience and staff training allow us to provide excellent assisted living care in a home-like environment. Call owner Mary Garcia, RN for more information. Trust us, if you choose Wild Rose Care Home at Quail Run for your loved ones assisted living care this will not be the last time you talk with Mary Garcia. Unlike other Santa Rosa assisted living facilities you’ll be speaking with someone with knowledge of you loved ones condition and who is involved in their care, not a part-time caregiver or business manager.

Dementia Care
Many Santa Rosa assisted living facilities do not accept residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease because they do not want to care for “difficult” residents. However, Wild Rose Care Home at Quail Run understands that residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease are not “difficult” residents when knowledgeable staff and Administrators are involved in their personal care. Small or large assisted living facilities managed by business administrators lack dementia care experience. Consequently, seniors with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease in these assisted living facilities often exhibit aggravated negative behaviors. For instance, seniors with dementia in larger assisted living facilities may exhibit aggravated negative behaviors because of large activity environments; they become over-stimulated by their environment and respond with aggravated confusion or emotional outbursts. In contrast, Wild Rose Care Home is owned and operated by a registered nurse with over a decade of dementia care experience. We know how to care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease; how to avoid over-stimulation, manage negative behaviors, and engage seniors with dementia.
